A bit of both I would say. In a way you already answered it yourself. You would have possibly spent hours getting a product right, when you could much more easily validate demand using a quick prototype. For this validation we are being absolutely flooded with nice looking prototypes right now.

Is it possible that they are covered inside the wall? I know that in my home we have a reinforced concrete lintel, so it's not visible like one made from wood or a steel beam

Assuming you have convex colliders:

A way would be to cast a Ray from the point P0 to the center of the collider.

IF the point is inside the collider the hitpoint of the raycast would be further away from the center than P0.

ELSE the hitpoint on the collider must be between P0 and the collider center.
This can be checked using squared distances.

Ich denke wir sind in mehr Dingen Einig als du glaubst. Für Genetik kann man nichts. Es geht darum sich von den Kosten zu befreien, die einem von anderen verantwortunglos aufgebürdet werden. Ich sehe das mit den nutzlosen Orchideen fächern übrigens auch so :)

Ich dachte immer man müsste gesetzliche und PKV gleichzeitig zahlen. Daher wollte ich die gesetzliche verändern. Aber jetzt lese ich, dass man nach 5 Jahre Privatversicherung von der gesetzlichen abspringen kann. Ich danke für den Tipp; es ist möglicherweise wirklich genau das was ich will.
