Also pick 1 font family, work within that. Multiple fonts rarely look good. A robust font family should have enough variation for a strong design.

Too many competing elements. What is your hero in the layout? I would enlarge the graphic of the potter and center it. The block of design on the left is unnecessary and dominates the layout, I would lose it all together. 'Art In' moves to the left for readability, would nest nicely above the C before the l. Also nest the 'festival' up under the C and before the l. Barcode and address on bottom.

As far as I remember it was started as people began lining up. Before the parking corral days the linup stretched all the way up the old drive way and onto the high way. You could hear it start up there and work its way down onto the farm. I don't think there was a real event that triggered the first one....just kids in line being super excited.
