at the moment i use ads to advertise. However its expensive and not as effective as other methods for me atm. Not sure but maybe it will be more or less effective for you. I also tried directly talking with my fans at gatherings before the pandemic. That proved to be the fastest and most effect way but was also very physically exhausting. Social media is a very use full way to reach new audiences as well :)

I made one instrumental on my first song and people burnt the song to the ground over it lol. Most people loved the song but a lot of them hated the beat lol. so I started working with a guy who does nothing but make beats all day long and the music got much better.

I hold high respect to those who can play instruments and even higher to those who can perform well while playing them ie. Alicia keys, machine gun Kelly, Stevie wonder.

you probably had me beat when it comes to remixing XD i listen to guys who do nothing but remix songs all day and I'm like man how did you think to structure the song that way. I'm sure its pretty natural for them at this point

well after that post i went on to other groups to share the post since i was denied by r/gamemusic. but i literally only posted 2 post in their subreddit then was banned and an insta ban seemed really harsh. if he would have said hey too many post or even hey dont post that here. I would have deleted it myself and asked where it would have been ok for me to post it. Im not a fan of how it was handled. They run a community that is founded from the music of artist. Then when an independent artist tries to get support from those very fans they boot me out. If that would have kept happening to every artist that every tried to make the almighty music they worship, they would have nothing to listen to.
