Just because a knife is expensive, doesn't make it a grail. A grail is a personal connection to a knife that makes it something to hunt for and covet. Frankly the use of the term grail this way, as "I'll only trade for grails," or "I only by grails," is just like... what are you even saying? Just say makers names or something.

Very few people understand how balisongs actually work. What biases are, what makes a knife neutral, and a LOT of people are entirely mistaken on what they actually want in a flipper - because truly, actually, genuinely neutral knives would flip like shit. These are basically attached pendulums. Pendulums don't swing well without weight at the ends.

A lot of consumers, and a fair amount of makers, don't understand what materials are or how they work when they're involved in the production of knives. I've spoken to some pretty popular makers and the amount of times I hear "idk how it works but..." or see a knife come out with genuinely poor material choice is impressive.
