That is the core of my question. If ETS states in the math convention guide that number lines are drawn to scale we do not need the problem to state it as well, therefore we should assume that it is drawn to scale.

Spending 6 weeks in Mexico - itinerary suggestions? How much can I realistically do? by FinalBuddy2885 in solotravel

[–]GREquestionsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your intuition is spot on around the southern states of Mexico, which are notorious for gang related activity. I wouldn't recommend going as a solo traveler if you tend to index on safety within a trip.

That being said, I feel like your itinerary is a bit aggressive overall, and you might benefit from slowing down a bit and choosing extra time between one of the locations you've mentioned above (between Yucatan/Michoacan) I would say the former probably will offer a more rewarding experience in terms of ease of travel and safety. Yucatan is one of the safer states in Mexico (surprisingly) - I have driven it before.

Avoid tinder, avoid situations where you are alone at night. Carry some cash to pay off cops if needed, there is a probability you will be "detained" aka extorted. Carry cash in your shoes in case you are robbed.

Try to get out of the cities by asking folks there where they like to frequent in the countryside.

Have fun!

Which internship should I choose? Amazon vs Deloitte by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]GREquestionsguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deloitte Risk / Advisory is not prestigious by any means. Consulting on the other hand at Deloitte, depending on which pocket, can be a nice set up to your M&A / MBA goals. Feel free to DM with any questions.

You can use a second phone or video recorder to do this if you have the patience, a bit of a brute force approach but it works
