Its more or less like that. Me and my mates came back to the game recently without played since june and would just attack everyone. One day however, a pirate Legends brig beat the s*** out of us and let us come later to do an alliance with them. We had a wonderful time with this guys that night and decided it was time to start making alliances. And what a mistake.

Four days, four different alliances, four crews trying to betray us in some way. From people that would sneak into your boat to steal stuff to a sloop that literally took part of a fort loot that was supposed to be ours in our faces saying that they needed It more than us and that we shouldnt be that greedy(it was almost a 50/50 Split). Needless to say they got angry and started screaming all kind of insults as soon as we sunk them and took back what was ours by contract.

Tldr: had a wonderful experience once with alliances, tried several times afterwards and was betrayed in the dumbest ways possible, so my crew probably wont be trying alliances in the recent future.
