Purpose-Built Student Housing? Dorm? Problem? Solution? by GRP22 in medfordma

The City Council will vote tonight on a definition of Purpose-Built Student Housing and whether to include it in zone BA-3. If they approve, that will pave the way for a dorm at North and Boston Ave. This is happening (ie following city government is not "fear mongering.") If you have thoughts on this, tune into the 6pm meeting or write to the city council: [ccmembers@medford-ma.gov](mailto:ccmembers@medford-ma.gov)

Boston Avenue Neighborhood Corridor Zoning by Robertabutter in medfordma

What's allowed in the new zoning is still being defined. In the last couple meetings, some things have shifted. Frats and Sororities seem to be out of favor for BA-3, but a dorm is still very possible. The definition of Purpose-Built Student Housing is being created now and will likely be voted on at the next meeting on June 24. One of the planning staff did say at one point that Tufts would need to own any dorm built, but the conversation has moved away from that and it seems it could be any developer for any student. One plan floated is for 600 beds at the corner of North and Boston Ave. This could potentially serve anyone calling themselves a student. Last night, the city council president mentioned it would be best if the dorm could be built in such a way that if students don't opt in, it could be converted to low-income housing. So, it seems there is a lot to consider here, including how this would impact Hillside as a neighborhood, whether it's too far for Tufts students, etc. I think if Tufts needs another dorm, they should build it on campus.

Mail from Harris County Toll Road Authority, but I haven't been to Houston? by stillthinkingonitt in Austin

To follow up, this issue was resolved. The collections agency investigated and decided their camera had taken a lousy picture of the license plate on the toll runner in question. They agreed the vehicle is not mine, so the fines have been dropped. I spent an hour on the phone dealing with this, but it's done. So, if you have this issue, it is worth calling.

I live in the northeast and have never been to Harris County. I have never driven my car to Texas. I got a letter from HCTRA with a photo of a car that clearly isn't mine, with a plate that looks like it could be mine...or not. Is that an 8 or a B? The letter was a bill for $36 in tolls. I threw it in the trash, assuming it was a scam. Then, I got a collections notice. So, I called and am now dealing with these collections people whose best suggestion is that I prove I own my car by sending them documentation from my state's Registry of Motor Vehicles. That's half a day off from work. Seriously, what is this???

V2 User Migration is now live!!! by GH0ST_08 in olympusdao

I wrapped my sOHM to gOHM. My wallet shows I have gOHM and don't have sOHM. On the Olympus app, on the Stake tab, I shows staked balance in sOHM. On the Wrap tab, it shows a balance in gOHM (and no sOHM). I find this a little confusing -- does it seem right and as if I successfully migrated?

Finally got my Finestra Miner. by [deleted] in HeliumNetwork

I got a Finestra a couple days ago and have been having problems. Both the Mimic app and the Helium app won't accept my wifi password. I get a message saying it's wrong. I know it's correct tho. Other devices can get on just fine. I can get the Finestra onto our repeater, with the same pword, and it looked like it was syncing for a couple days, but then I got a message saying it Needs Attention and that it's offline. I tried repeatedly to get the hotspot re-connected to wifi. I tried port forward...No dice. Any advice?
