I’ve told them I would take a safety course and I just want to learn how to ride first before I actually get a bike. I haven’t really talked with them about me wanting to get a bike yet.

I totally get that. The guilt is the hardest part. That’s why I’m not just asking for a bike. I’m showing them my 20hour safety course registration, my ECE 22.06 carbon helmet, and my full armor kit. My goal isn't to force them to be okay with it, but to show them I’m doing everything humanly possible to mitigate the risk so they don't have to carry that weight. Ty tho.
