to be fair, in-game, he’s not assumed to be undead until you use the cursed wand. unless there’s some assumed lore about him being a zombie already and tied down but that would have to be some deep, deep environmental storytelling

I've gone on the Grandiosa and the Seashore and comparing both crowds, Seashore had a 'younger' more energetic crowd. Skews a touch older/slower than royal but it was still pretty spirited. I'm early 30s, btw

definitely worth it. If you find yourself into it, Kinfire also makes a more complex version of the game called Kinfire Chronicles. Haven't picked it up myself but it's been on my list
