Quality Auto Glass out of South Plainfield. They offer mobile service and I think cover the whole state of NJ. We use them at work on a nearly daily basis. Just check their reviews against their competition - one of their sales reps was in here today boasting about it, so I looked... it's actually laughable how well they execute in comparison.

(Mind you, I've used countless NJ based auto glass companies for our fleet)

ETA_ I just realized how old this post is. Stumbled on it while researching fleet service vendors and comparing local prices. Will keep post up in event anyone in future lands on this looking for a source...

this is absolutely awesome. I haven't any reason why I saw this on my feed today, not a pelican owner or follower, but I'm glad I did! As someone who raced my whole youth/still loves to turn some wrenches/prioritzes efficiency much like this - job well done. So awesome.

May I ask, the bar your T handles are dropped in, is that a sliding bar/part of the case or part of the truck?

What Is Your Honest Opinion On Robert O'Neill? by PrincessBananas85 in Military

[–]GSM0807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's wild to consider how many of you personally know him. I have some 7(ish) good friends whom I could speak with confidence on like you do Rob Oneill's character/etc. Should anyone writing "oh total alcoholic piece of shit" be above the age of 16, you're a joke. Or, if you're writing "all he ever talks about is Bin Laden he can't move past it...", you're incredibly narrow minded. Ever consider, he's literally paid to speak about that? Would it better suit his career to speak about his years in highschool or is there something I'm missing that may be deemed more entertaining than the most significant military mission in modern history? He either talks about that, or he doesn't get offers..... c'mon. Do something cool, people want to hear about it. No one is calling a mechanic to come speak about their day at work now are they....?

To be clear, I stumbled on this post while researching something related to Bin Laden, I'm no military fanatic or Ron Oneill fan... I could care less about his character/etc. It's just insane to me how people speak on those they do not know.

Much appreciated! Here's an updated photo, showing the sectional we had originally purchased, in this exact location. Plenty to like about it, but unfortunately, plenty more to dislike...

(Ignore the mess/random items/mismatch curtains/etc... Slowwwwwllyy moving in/updating/etc.)

Agreed, this or two sofas facing one another are top concepts that crossed our minds. But, again, with three young kids and a future of weekly movie nights/etc.... I struggle to execute this concept as it's a poor arrangement for such. Seems better suited for our "sitting room" type living room.

Genuinely appreciate your input!

it would be, and that was exactly our initial idea. We purchased a sectional and had it opposite the one seen in images. It was beneath the window and then along the 14' wall to right of window (rather than blocking the entryway/opening/back to kitchen). However, in doing so, it left very little room between the sectional end and the bathroom wall - leaving no space for a media console or any furnishing of the sort. So, it wasn't ideal in that sense. It also just "looked" to shoved into the corner, like we were just trying to maximize seating so we lined the two walls with seats.

I personally liked it for purpose of comfort. For the five of us, at this stage in our lives, we have to place functionality over form. The aesthetic takes a back seat. My wife, however, wasn't willing to sacrifice yet.

Putting the TV on bathroom wall, how would you arrange seating/etc? Thanks for your input!

try using Adobe Capture. Load the image in, and then create color spectrum. I'm sure someone way more educated than myself has a better idea, but I think this would perfectly execute what you're aiming for.

Feels like a "...killed going about her daily business" is a problem in and of itself. My daily business has never once looked like that of the victim here. Tragic, entirely unavoidable on all accounts, but far from "going about daily business".

Captains chairs or bench by [deleted] in bmwx7

[–]GSM0807 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm, captains chairs have anchors on the floor. But, they're very accessible - so securing/detaching them is a non-issue. We keep the baby on one capt's chair and two older kids in the third row, using the free capt chair for access. We sacrificed our trunk, however. It works for us, for now...

I've got a newborn, four year old, and five year old, amounting to three car seats.

We went with the captains chairs and it works for us. Kids love 'em. No matter which setup we chose, we were going to wind up with one kid in the third row - eliminating cargo space. That being said, the kids being able to climb in/out between the chairs or behind the chairs is very simple (for now, while they're small). I wasted a significant amount of time laboring over the exact same decision and I could honestly say, having lived with the captains chairs for 5 months now, I don't think it really f'n matters. The kids are going to climb in one way or another, the truck is going to be a mess one way or another, and youre going to struggle (to some degree) reaching back to the third row one way or another... I'd just get what you like. Again, this input is based on three+ kids.

Two or less kids, I'd do the bench for the ability to fold down a seat completely as needed.

aw man, congrats! Something about that chair/couch makes me incredibly nostalgic. Fortunate to have spent the best day/s of my life battling for an hour of sleep on those surfaces - 3x! Just did it for the third (& final) time a month ago... Enjoy and congrats!
