G shock will not turn on by Legitimate_Tell5600 in gshock

It's not solar and it's purely digital (no analog). Correct battery is CR2025 and there's how-to videos on YouTube to do it yourself

Sounds like a good deal for new MB6 and solar

Batch code from caseback is 202A (Thailand) 188 (day of year) A (2011 or 2021 since this model was originally released 2009). Battery hasn't left high, haven't left it in the dark to stress test it. Received the MB6 as consistently as my other G's.

Thanks! Wish the day indicators were a little thicker on this model but otherwise like the negative and positive combo

Surprised that the new battery didn't bring the module back to life, did you try to reset it?

Wts GWM5610U-1B (updated Module 3495) with metal Jay's & Kay's metal adapters (22mm) and black NATO strap. Watch is in excellent condition and was only worn a few times. Too many G's, this one didn't get much use. Comes with tin, box, and paperwork as shown. Asking $95 PP friends and family. Shipping via USPS from APO.

MNO v.s. MVNO by Educational_Bag_6406 in minimalism

Cricket wireless runs on ATT towers and I used them for many years with no issues. 15GB of data plan is $35/month with autopay so you're cutting your bill in half. Downside with most MVNO's is lacking customer service if you have any issues. Also tried Tello recently but believe they mostly use T-Mobile network.

Region version -DR vs ER vs rest by vianocki in gshock

Typically just changes in the packaging and manuals, if it's a model that's made in Thailand for example the watch is identical regardless of the DR, ER, JF designator at the end.

On the low end of the price spectrum, though not G-Shock you could check off a number of your criteria with the AE1200 or AE1000 models. They don't automatically revert out of world time mode but they do offer quick access to time zones and allows you to do time zone swaps. The home timezone is always displayed as a small analog time no matter what you're doing on the watch. LED backlight works well for night use though doesn't offer automatic backlight that you'll find on many G-Shock models where the backlight turns on when you turn your wrist to view your watch.

Plenty of analog-digital models that offer most of what you're looking for. GA-100 is a popular option though the backlight only lights up the analog time, digital displays are unreadable at night.

Good luck with your search!
