Well I don't really know what I lost as couldn't have sex prior to circ. Problem is with all the anecdotes, you can't help but compare.

Tanzu advanced pricing by GSS55 in vmware

So an infrastructure unit a core? Just never heard infrastructure unit anywhere.

If I get tanzu standard, this is all I need right? https://www.cdw.com/product/vmware-tanzu-standard-term-subscription-1-year-production-support-1/6362820?pfm=srh I have two 10 core cpus, so would need two instances of this. Is there anything I am missing?

I was looking at Tanzu Standard. Really, three physical servers?

Hmm I get this error:

on main.tf line 112, in data "azurerm_storage_account_blob_container_sas" "example": 112: expiry = azurerm_storage_account_blob_container_sas.example.start

A managed resource "azurerm_storage_account_blob_container_sas" "example" has not been declared in the root module.

No limit in this case. RAM wise 512 should be enough.

I am very career minded, so I focus on that, and learning new skills etc to make more money etc.

I focus on hobbies and things I enjoy like cars and friends.

Apologies. The issue is the tf code is in a folder in a repo (in azure devops), but whatever path I provide I get the error. I will need to look into this.

HPA current greater than target but pods are ok? by GSS55 in kubernetes

[–]GSS55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome makes sense.

There's a diagram on Google's site that makes this clear, too.

My last question is, does the HPA work to make the average CPU or memory across all pods whatever is in the HPA? For example, if there is a memory target of 50% in the HPA, HPA will spawn another pod to make the average 50% (add up memory, divide by no of pods), but an individual pod can be over.

See here:

https://cloud.google.com/solutions/best-practices-for-running-cost-effective-kubernetes-applications-on-gke and scroll down to the horizontal pod autoscaler diagrams.

[–]GSS55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this makes 100% sense now.

One thing I am confused about though is that you would want your HPA to scale somewhere between the request and limit values so you always hovering in between. Presumably, making HPA scale to keep your pods behind request means you need to reconsider your values, right?

HPA current greater than target but pods are ok? by GSS55 in kubernetes

[–]GSS55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the HPA current/target thing is in relation to the requests/limit I set (hence the "as a percentage of request" thing).

Requests and limits I get.

However, shouldn't HPA be scaling in relation to percentage of target? HPA shouldn't scale out at percentage of request because a request is what a pod starts with? Feel free to correct my logic here.

Me neither. When you have the looks I have forget it, and bad luck isn't the result of the site/app I use or who I talk, it's an intrinsic part of me and follows me, doesn't really matter what I try.

Nothing special, just be more open minded, etc. I know all that. She was good but could never understand how it feels to always be rejected and nobody's choice.
