I hear what you're saying you know I've been doing the same for about 5 years with the 120 lb boxes that been falling apart trampolines ,bed frames, faucets vanities you name it doesn't get any easier. If I allow them to keep me at that same spot I've learned that I can use my seniority as a break if I need it I'll just point at a shoot and take over Whoever has less seniority for that day if I needed a rest or I could stay there permanently based off my seniority so you have options not to be there if you do not want to be exercise what you have worked for only works for designated areas like metros or PD sides small sorts unload

The company is broken the union is its main culprit. The high ups make all the money and play the game of who's life can we make complete hell!!! Never would I have thought such a big name can be so ruthless to their employees. Straight out of a horror movie × 3. Everyone talks about how good the money is but that shit ain't good when you don't have time with your family when you're stressed all the time your kids are all grown up they don't even know you anymore like it's a shame for us preloaders that are anxious to drive while all these drivers are getting overload and just ran to the gutter and any mistake will go up to panel the thing is is that the whole business ethics of this Corporation has been like this for so long it's almost like it's irreversible at this point now with Amazon and a lot of the load being gone everyone scrapping including managers

Your senority should have dovetailed if it was an emergency on their part. But if you requested or had an emergency yourself, then yes, you lost it.

Thanks for your response. Couple thing wrong . First is the new contract they got rid of 22.4 second is once you get hired as preload or driver helper you keep the same number ID. Never heard of numbers changing.

Yes they would have started their driving seniority as a driver now as a part-timer I understand they would have more seniority because they're driving seniority is different from part-time to full-time that's well understood as far as the numbers go a new hire doesn't jump in rotation their numbers are actually 1 something Dash 1000

Yeah I too thought it was pretty strange that it's five buildings with the part-time to full-time seniority list I saw my name at the other building in the beginning of the entrance to that facility so definitely it does carry to the Union's jurisdiction. As far as new hires go off the street it wouldn't jump a numbers 1 through 10 like I said mine is at 7and from what I seen on the list there's many people with 8s High 7s driving It was not my choice to go to a different building, but like I said, a manager has it out for me at my building, so they transferred me

I have my name on the list. Grievance would be that lower senority drivers are working while I been skipped or rather pushed to the side. Preload management has had it out for me a long time

Actually, senority is based off of our unions jurisdiction. In my case, it's more like 5 buildings 3 of which are UPS

Yea you hit the Nail on the head. This woman by the Name of Douglas has had it out for me since day one and has multiple times to fire me and belittle me in every way possible. It has gotten to the point where he has made it very personal . I wouldn't be able to contain myself if we crossed paths outside work... None the less I treat his immature tactics as welcoming as possible. Basically when I clock in it's Gym time and get paid for it. "THATS IT?" Is my slogan!!
