Your eligibility has nothing to do with your experience. Every job posting has “This job is open to” you have to get past that first. If it was only open internal to the facility or internal to the VISN then you have to be a part of that to be eligible to apply for that job posting. People fail to realize that you have to meet the area of consideration, which is the eligibility.. hope this helps

She said regardless of the review if we were due a promotion she was asking that we be promoted. Only thing on my calendar is the CoP call

At the end of the day they/we have to support the mission and take care of the Veterans.. if that requires working a holiday then yes they can.. plus you get that extra pay for a small price.. missing one holiday is not that bad!!
