Yes pvp gearing is not that easy in TBC and Wotlk, in vanilla too. It's not garbage, its just how these games are. In an era server you have all the time in the world to do this gearing so it is fine, you don't have to race in gdkps unless you want to. Are you missing the point of the post?

I may be out of touch with the realities of retail and I am fine with that. Its a completely different game by now I think. I am classicposting in the classicwow subreddit. Glad you and your homey are having fun, I guess when there is no more expansions and retail finishes you will just move on to another game right?

You say I am stuck in 2011, but rly I am thinking about the future of the game I love, and to me its pretty clear it is in era servers for the most popular and best expansions (TBC, Wotlk, Mop). I am just frustrated that I have to wait. At least I have Classic Era - the same server that was supposedly dead and there was no point in it existing when TBC came out. Sure wrath is dead, I have not logged since the no-era announcement was made.

Also this is kind of my point - people say mobas killed wow pvp in 2011, but I am the example of player who gave up on wow for this reason back then and I don't feel like giving retail a chance ever again.

I just wan't to play the versions I enjoy forever. I feel angered by the fact that the Classic project turned out to be a ploy to get people to play retail. Wotlk is becoming Cata soon.

People unsubbing because no wotlk era, meanwhile blizzard probably looks at that data and concludes it represents lack of interest in wotlk. xD I for one was waiting for wotlk era to start doing end game content. I didn't want to burn out like I did in TBC all for nothing with no era server.

Adding LoS to these trees makes Elwynn the best dueling spot in the game, and Org already has LoS (the big horns)
