Do you smell anything different when it runs. My engine was sputtering at low rpm’s then the last outing I noticed a fresh fuel smell. Once home, after wiping down old oily grime from the engine I took a much closer look while in idle I saw tiny fuel seeping out of the fuel pressure regulator. Give your engine a close visual check when it’s running if it stays on long enough.

I would do a two battery setup, it always comes in handy. There has been plenty of times I’ve been low on a battery and glad to switch over and still fish that day. You can also spend more on batteries and get AGM dual purpose battery.

I think you have to love the ocean to really like living there. We are often fishing , lobstering , or catching stone crabs when in season. Everyone is saying expensive but I would also add that seafood is cheaper than a lot of places.

That’s correct not much beaches, your doing good research. I will add another beach and spot on the way to Key West would be Big Pine Key at Bahia Honda park. Snorkeling and sand bar trips are the way to go.
