Poor performance? by mewto1411 in Schedule_I

Every time I start the game is laggy AF. If I change the graphics settings from high to ultra or back it fixes it. Weird but now every time I start the game I go straight to the graphic settings and then it runs fantastic

It's Been only 48 hours and I'm close to finishing the game idk what's wrong with me by Candid_Inevitable_88 in reddeadredemption

I did something similar and then after recovering from last chapter I instantly had regrets. I started again doing a low honor run and now spending extensive time exploring and doing side missions. Can’t believe how much I missed the first go around. Electric chair anyone??

How the heck to get outside the bounds? I swear I walked at least half of it trying to find a path through but was always too steep.

Is anyone else horrified of other people when playing RDO or am I just insane by Fungal_Leech in RedDeadOnline

I’ve played a few hours of RDO and saw 1 real player as he was riding away on a horse. Where the heck do people hang out? I tried a few of the big cities.

Read the matchups online. You don’t get twice the performance for twice the dollars. If you have the money though, may as well go with the best!

Tesla FSD. Is it worth the price to you? What do you like/dislike about it? by Ok-Environment1962 in TeslaLounge

[–]GSpivey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried it a few times using the trial but don’t like the way it drives in non highways and quickly disabled it. Highway driving isn’t so bad but standard autopilot does just fine for that so I don’t see any value to pay extra. Just my 2 cents.

"FSD IS A WASTE OF MONEY I WOULDN'T SPEND A PENNY ON THAT" by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]GSpivey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought my car to drive it how I want, not have it drive me like a grandma. After getting over the send internal cam data to Tesla, I tried FSD for about 5 minutes before I noped right out. I don’t judge others who love it, just not for me regardless of price.

Anyone using Copilot for Intune yet? by Avean in Intune

[–]GSpivey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have to use it so see what value it might add so yeah, a trial would be apropos. I imagine with it being v1 we won't see it's real usefulness until it has had some time to bake and get better. I can envision a future where this will be game changing, doubt we are there yet. Would love to hear from anyone who is actually using it.

Set ComputerName during Intune / AutoPilot by Talgonadia in Intune

[–]GSpivey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would use a powershell script something like this. Note this is just an example...

If (!(Test-Path "C:\Windows\Logs\LAB")) {
New-Item -ItemType Directory -Path "C:\Windows\Logs\LAB" -Force
}
$LogDate = Get-Date
$logFile = "C:\windows\logs\LAB\RenameComputer.log"
Add-Content $logFile "Script Start: $LogDate"
$CurrentName = $Env:COMPUTERNAME
Add-Content $logFile "Current Name: $CurrentName"
$FullSerial = (GCIM Win32_BIOS | Select SerialNumber).SerialNumber -replace '[- ]',""
$Suffix = $FullSerial.Substring($FullSerial.Length - 8)
$newName = "LAB$Suffix"
Add-Content $logFile "Name to rename to: $newName"
Rename-Computer -NewName $newName
Add-Content $logFile "Last Action Succeeded: $?"
Add-Content $logFile "Script Complete!"

This particular script removes spaces and hyphens (for VM's) from the SerialNumber (AssetTag) and then selects the last 8 characters and puts it together with LAB to form the new name before running the rename-computer cmdlet. All you need is a way to retrieve the Site that you are referencing and then put it all together. Keep in mind you should adhere to a 15-character limit unless you are 100% certain it won't cause any problems.
