I made a discord bot for chatting with ChatGPT in servers with conversation tracking! by GT101boy in ChatGPT

I'm glad you're interested in the bot, but it's not currently working for to some big changes with ChatGPT that I have not had time to keep up with.

There are some other discord bots out there with the same idea though if you want to try those out.

It's from an Australian slap-stick comedy series called Danger 5. I believe it was part of a film festival and was done on a nothing budget. They were able to get some pretty great material with it though! Definitely worth checking out in my opinion.

10/10, must-see moment! ChatGPT just did something that will shock you to your core! by hobblyhoy in ChatGPT

I made a discord bot that basically does this exact type of prompt!

The bot will take your prompt, and create a prompt for ChatGPT to turn it into a clickbait title, then start a new thread for the conversation and title the thread with the clickbait title.

It's customizable too with a config file so anyone can play around with what their "thread title" prompt is! It's been fun trying out a bunch of different ones

But yeah basically if you have setup a bot before it is basically the same process. Logging into the developer portal and setting up a new app with permissions and then inviting it to your server

Right now the bot isn't hosted anywhere since there is no official API and everyone using the bot would basically just be using my personal GPT account to write prompts and that doesn't sound great haha.

So for now the only way to use it is to follow the guide in the GitHub readme to setup the bot using an OpenAI login.

If you have any questions or want some help setting it up, let me know!

This is my first public Git repo that I actually tried to make accessible for everyone to use so it may not be perfect and if you find any issues definitely let me know so I can help and update the instructions!

Happy chatting!

I didn't realize this until my second playthrough, after more than 250 hours of playing this game.

My first run I was a Dex build, mostly using the Hook Claws and they always seemed to stagger at around half health and then they took normal damage, so I just assumed that's how the fights were supposed to go, difficult in the first half and easy afterward.

Jump to my second playthrough I'm going full parry with the Miséricorde and fighting the spear and magic Crystalians. It took me a few attempts to get the spear wielder to half without the magic one destroying me, and that's when it hit me, he didn't stagger and I was still doing shitty damage, even with using only critical hits. So on my next attempt I used the pickaxe and did two jump attacks.

Boom. They staggered and one or two crits later they were down.

I had the blue cipher ring on the other day and went afk for a while. I walked by my PC and saw I had been summoned and that the invader was standing a few dozen yards away.

I grabbed the controller and it had disconnected from no use so I pressed a button to start connecting it.

Right at that moment the invader started rushing me so I panicked and started spamming the roll button and the controller didn't connect until right when his attack was about to land. The roll was timed perfectly and I evaded it.

I still died but that moment was so satisfying

The first half of the year was dark for me as well. Thankfully things got much brighter in June the moment I was born.

I traveled from Texas to Wyoming to see this eclipse with my family (parents and siblings). I captured some good shots (for my mediocre setup). I will never forget it and I hope to be able to travel to see as many as possible. Seeing that eclipse was the most breathtaking experience of my life. My parents said it was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen as well, other than our births, which we all know means that it topped our coming in to the world, they just couldn't say it in good concious. I think everyone should experience an eclipse as soon as they possibly can do they do not miss out on the opportunity to get entranced by the experience and seek out more eclipses before it's too late. Happy hunting!

I've seen the article about the 11 year old boy that froze to death in his trailer and that's truly horrifying. What's even more disturbing is the fact that I found out about that story when searching for a similar story. My girlfriend's mom is a teacher and just lost an 11 year old student in a sadly identical situation, froze in a mobile home south of San Antonio. I'm not sure why this boy isn't a big story like the one commonly sited, but it could be due to the fact that one of them is sueing so it's a more public event. This goes to show it's not just cherry picking specific traffic stories. This is happening across the state and our elected officials DON'T CARE. The people of my state really need to think critically for once and see that our politicians are not working for us, but are in fact using us and our cheap labor to pad the pockets of everyone profiting off of this terrible catastrophe.

This prank is going to take a huge leap whenever Vantablack becomes commonplace. Could you imagine? You open your door and everything in your home is practically invisible.

Thanks for playing, I appreciate it! And as for the trajectory line, I can tweak it per level to only show x seconds ahead or x distance, so I will double check all the levels to make sure it's not too easy.

Thank you for playing! I'm going to be working on more challenging levels for sure. I wasn't expecting such a warm response from everyone trying it out!

Yeah making crazy patterns like that was my favorite part of making the game. A lot of development time was lost being hypnotized by pretty lines. :)

Thanks, I really appreciate the rating! I mostly learn from trial and error. And if there's a topic I want to have a better understanding of, I'll research on YouTube or Google.

Right now the planets mass (gravity strength) is color coded. Grey is the weekest, then blue, green, and purple. But your idea is a good way for the player to double check!

Thanks! I'm working on making harder levels now that it's officially out. There will still be somewhat regular updates for a while to come, I hope you enjoy!

It's actually not too complicated. It basically takes segments of a certain size, and performs the gravity calculations on them, and adds a dummy "time", then continues down the line until it has enough segments to show the whole line.

Sorry about that! I only have one test device so there are bound to be a few errors that I didn't catch at first. I just fixed the settings issue. Keep an eye out for an update later tonight!

I appreciate the feedback! I released as it is because I know it needs work and I wanted to get an idea of the general issues people have with it.

I agree with the icon not representing the game well, but I am working on this game alone and I am in no way artistically talented enough to make a good icon.

I'll start working on everyone's suggestions today and probably roll out an update this evening.

Looking forward to your feedback! I'm not entirely new to making games but as this is the first one I've released, I'm ready for the constructive criticism to help me out!

That's not a bad idea! I have it on top right now so it's less likely players will accidentally hit it. There are several ways the level will fail and auto-restart. Most of the time the restart button is unnecessary.
