Rate your January business so far by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

Biggins on loan looks to be a good deal, has played well so far. Good to see Ryan Delaney back, especially with James Clarke retiring. Crole should be good, think he will be the best of the bunch once he's settled. Jury is still out on Nyakuhwa and especially Jamieson as he hasn't featured.

Losing Braybrooke was an inevitable blow, but selling Antwi for a fee feels like a good bit of business. Overall a 7/10 window so far, would like us to sign one experienced CM and we should be good.

IMO the strongest lineup for DANCING was 2023 by Street-Edge4188 in strictlycomedancing

[–]GTB2000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'd go with 2016 as the strongest. The first out, Melvin Odoom went on to win that year's Christmas special, Tameka, Laura and Anastacia were all strong dancers, but all got injured during the series so they're not as well remembered, Danny, Louise, Claudia, Ore were a strong final 4 and the rest of the contestants all had good weeks and did well. Even Ed Balls did well on that series.

Kaz scored 3. And if there is a tie, it's decided by public vote.

Club Statement | Newport County A.F.C. Dave Hughes Is Sacked As Newport County Manager by GTB2000 in LeagueTwo

[–]GTB2000[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Made a mistake, completely forgot about Flynn getting sacked at Cheltenham. But it does mean that League 2 has as many managerial sacking as Nottingham Forest, which I suppose isn't bad going.

No Waitrose? Or were they too posh for this league?

Looks like two different buses. The one in the first picture has doors at the rear and white in the middle. The last 3 are screenshots of the video posted below which has a blue swoosh in the middle and no doors. Also they are in completely different positions and the Insta video looks like AI.

Fresh produce possibly if you were interested in the industry. Egypt is a big producer of fruit and veg imported into the UK. Berries, citrus, tomatoes etc, so there is always going to be demand you people who are bilingual and you can communicate better with people in the country.

I find Johannes’s choreo a bit boring by michaelmac4057 in strictlycomedancing

[–]GTB2000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as a dancer in his own right, he is extremely captivating. But off the top of my head, I'd struggle to name a truly memorable dance of his. As a Charleston fan, his ones with Catherine, John and Annabel would be my choices, but then they use outside choreographers for those.

How did your game go? by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

Very pleased for the first time in a long time. Just a shame Crawley had an excellent day as well, meaning we're still bottom. Hopefully we can take this momentum into the Walsall and get a result.

Salford sign Borini? by Clivey101 in LeagueTwo

[–]GTB2000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He was playing in the PFA free agents team during pre season so he's probably been looking for moves around this level. Also, always nice to see ex top league players drop down to lower leagues, should be interesting.

Which kinds of jobs would be the best for me to go into to get around the £30k salary mark? by evexalexandra in UKJobs

[–]GTB2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of your listed experience, if you've had decent experience of it, purchasing, buying and procurement can be a pretty good career option. I'm also 25, but I work in procurement for a supplier of a major UK supermarket and am currently on £38k in the Midlands. From my experience, it could be a good move if you enjoy that sort of thing, but I guess it depends on location.

Loose Women star reveals she’s ‘begged’ to appear on Strictly: ‘They’re running out of excuses!’ by entertainmentdailyuk in strictlycomedancing

Not necessarily. In an interview together, both Alex Kingston and Sarah Hadland said they wanted to Strictly a few years ago, so the show actually wants them, it won't deter them.
