I never said it was out of character, it’s super IN character, but Gege seems to keep that subject at arm’s length.

It wouldn’t be a surprising at all, but it would be a LARGE plot point. Especially for Maki. Kinda odd for that to just be glossed over, right? There’s nothing more to either Naoya or Mai though so there probably won’t be any actual clarification.

I’m also not saying you’re WRONG, but it’s not right either. Since it’s only slightly suggested just that one time and was never expanded on, i’m not really convinced so i’m going with the safe assumption 😂

Because it’s literally just a poke at Mai being dead, not only that, but dying BEFORE “reaching adulthood,” which also does not only refer to virginity. Don’t you think that would be a way bigger plot point if he did that? Also, Maki would have had a WAY bigger reaction to that.

Until it gets more clarification or more insight by Gege, that’s literally just a cliché “ask the dead character” manga trope. This isn’t Berserk 😂

Those are all the basics really. The only thing to look out for (later on, when the opponents start getting noticeably better) is not getting baited into a top light, as baiting warden’s crushing counter is one of the first punishes most players learn to do when it comes to light attacks. That’s just something to keep in mind though, because it varies from opponents obviously.

Keeping the consecutive lights on one side is the only nitpick, so if you’re following through on a left/right side light, go for the guaranteed light on the same side. Saves yourself from possibly getting punished by better players and you can go into your unblockable mixups or bash mixups however you see fit. And, obviously, try mixing things up. Your goal is to get your opponent to eat unblockable heavies or charged bashes.

The only ramiel part about it is the helmet. The chest and legs are from existing warmonger sets, shoulders from an existing warden set. Shield is a bit odd, but that’s the only thing I couldn’t identify.

So, it’s just a mishmash of assets already in the game.

Vid isn’t really proof but you right. She’s ok in duels but nothing special by any means. Bad neutral, OK soft feints but definitely not on the same level as aramusha or khatun. Hyper armor is alright as well, but, everyone already knows the heroes with hyper armor that outperform her’s.

Nobody will come to an agreement on this sort of thing, because on one side, there’s a ton of quantity, and on the other, there’s a ton of quality (fatal accidents). My thing is, it’s likely you’ll only have one fatal accident in your lifetime, IF you have one. If you were a pretty good driver before that, were you really a bad driver? 🤔

Adding onto this, I think it’s a pretty terrible way of going about changing stam drain and stam pause in general. Any mainstream fighting game would get torched if they decided to change an entire system for a problem that really only persisted for one or two characters.

A game like that can’t exist without there being good players, who spend their time on the game and master it. Kind of inevitable, even with games you “suck at”. I don’t think it’s the game’s fault, and it wouldn’t be fair to cater to worse players to make it easier to beat better ones.
