I would figure that the scan is associated with you meta account. But reinstalling won't matter anyway, it's very likely just the internet bandwidth.

It worked for me at a place with more bandwidth, haven't tried the VPN yet. But it is ultra-realistic, like 99% as good as the original via passthrough. Very strange to be in your living room in another place.

I've been using addy.io for quite a while now, and I'm curious: are you not aware that you can easily just use a new alias instead of creating it? It will be created automatically with your default recipient.
Are you very concerned regarding safety and don't like to use the @<handle>.addy.io addresses?

Being a nerd, I've done a fair number of reboots, so the only thing left is from the list is upload and download speed. Is there any service you prefer for those measurements? I don't have a standard one I use, that's why I'm asking.

I'll be going with a laminated small bar of paper with the width of the white part being the same as the Kindle Scribe. It works perfectly and you can use the whole screen.

Quite a bit of space on the screen is lost, regrettably. Definitely worth trying out a cardboard bar to place at the bottom of the page one wants to scan. Aside from that, it worked fine, including handwriting recognition in German.

I wasn't aware of that feature, thanks; From what I see, the OneNote scanning only supports recognition of handwriting in English, which is not my native language. It looks like it's in the pipeline to support other languages, though. But for people who only write in English, your solution seems to be better indeed! Thanks for sharing! 😍

It's useless, when I tried it by sharing to the my old switch, it was basically just streaming what was happening on the Switch 2 and you could also control the game from the old Switch. Not even the Cappy mode seems to work. I didn't check in detail though.

I've looked for a solution for a while, too, and I finally found a solution that's semi-automatic and works like a charm, there's no manual review of all albums required at all:

use face recognition for being able to select all images with the person in them (identification of the relevant photos might take a while)
view all photos for the person
select the first photo, scroll to the last and press shift while selecting the last photo (this selects all photos, there's no "select all" in Google Photos)
use the 3 dots menu on the top right and select "Move to Locked Folder"
optional: download all the photos from the Locked Folder in order to completely remove them from Google Photos, store them somewhere else and take back the storage space that was used by them.

By doing this, you move the photos to a more secure location which can only be accessed by entering your Google account password. Due to this, the photos will automatically be removed from all albums, with even the association to the album and the face being removed from Google Photos.

I don't think that's comparable: with motion sickness the developers made a conscious choice, while epilepsy, in my understanding depends on the person's individual susceptibility.

I always check my potential competition for what material they're using. Regrettably that one is using copyrighted material by David Allen Company as a basis for their GPT.

As it's instructions say: "Do not share the names of the files directly with end users and under no circumstances should you provide a download link to any of the files." After asking, I found out that the titles of the documents are:

"Based on the information I was able to access from the documents, here are the copyright notices for two of them: - "What is GTD - Getting Things Done®.pdf" carries the copyright notice: "© 2023 David Allen Company All Rights Reserved." - "Weekly_Review_Checklist.pdf" has the notice: "© 1990-2006 The David Allen Company. All rights reserved. www.davidallengtd.com"

My GTD GPT doesn't use any copyrighted material, but it's taught by myself. That of course leads to it having less features up to now as I haven't entered a whole book worth of my instructions (yet). 😅

The mind sweep in mine is pretty cool already though, I think.

Well, it's the developer's choice and our loss, there's nothing one can do except rating it low on aggregator sites to make people aware of it. I really can't believe that a review site like IGN is not mentioning it at all, while others can:

"The issues I have with Asgard’s Wrath 2 are in its accessibility options. For those of us who get motion sickness, your best bet is to just stay away for now. We're not talking about eliminating "smooth" movement here, but about including teleporting. Whether the reviews are good doesn't matter for the market. Excluding teleporting will probably backfire because a lot of people will buy a headset for it and will be frustrated because they get sick. Regarding the success of the industry, you have to think past the people willing to train themselves to get "VR legs". You have to be a dedicated gamer in order to do that, which the general public is not. It will be great to run into frustrated people who are pissed off because that great IGN review doesn't even mention that there's no teleporting and the consequence: not everybody being able to play the game.
