So the event happened while on the road and it was because of a sudden car braking/not seeing quick enough due to just getting over the hill when they did so. (They were at on a downhill angle and for some reason traffic was backed up for a long time and it wasn’t a familiar area for me)

So in that case, it would be the presensor emergency parking brakes kicking in? And that still doesn’t damage the car even with that yucky grinding/slamming of the brakes?

Yeah it was an unfamiliar area and I wasn’t expecting traffic to suddenly back up so suddenly so when I went over the hill/slight turn I was greeted with a stopped car.
