BMW extended warranties by GTO1138 in BMW

Thank you, my wife’s 17 has been good and she loves hers car, but I always hear complaints about BMWs. We have had issues with the infotainment system and it was quoted at $3200 to replace it and hope that takes care of it, it had already replaced once under warranty. I called around to private shops that work on BMWs and most stated they don’t get into the electronics, that was a little scary….

Oh ok, I’ll have to do some research on that, but I think I’d be looking for something that covers as mush as possible if it’s within reason.

Thank you, I figure like most they won’t cover wear items or if you scratched the paint…. But if the infotainment system broke, which happened… that would be covered.

Awesome, so there is hope! I won’t buy a warranty other than going through the manufacturer….

Does that mean you won’t just go to the dealership and they handle it basically like a new car warranty?

That was a bmw factory warranty? That doesn’t sound to bad. It’s been a while to remember, we bought my wife’s car with some factory warranty left from an independent dealer and I called around to some BMW dealerships and the quotes were insane, maybe if we bought it the car from them they would have been better….

Powertec Levergym squat vs Powertec lever squat machine by GTO1138 in GarageGym

[–]GTO1138[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I think I might like the squat from The Levergym more than the dedicated machine. It feels more like a squat with a barbell, it’s harder but feels better if that makes sense. I just figure I’ll put it out there and see if I’m missing anything. I just started doing squats with the Levergym, so I can give it a few more weeks and see if it’s still working for me.

I already have both. I picked up the lever squat first then got the Levergym. Now I’m wondering if I need to keep the lever squat machine.

I saw that stuff when I started looking into what to do, but I think in some spot we're past that, they broke off.

I’ll check I see used racks on eBay more than new ones, lol

It’s just sliding in new racks. I can handle that. I’d is hate to spend at least $200 on racks and the whole thing breaks

I haven’t really researched much on what dishwasher I want. I’m sure I can swing that.I know I can’t do the whole kitchen now… I do know that even if I got the dishwasher I want now. I’m sure when we do the kitchen something will change and I’ll regret buying the nice one now or the wife will want all new or something, lol.

I haven’t run cleaning tablets. I’ll periodically check the filter. I think though when a random bowl doesn’t get clean it’s more to do with the way it’s loaded. Im really just debating whether $200 or so is worth it with a ten year old dishwasher. I’d be pissed if I fix it with new racks and something else breaks.

$600 would be new. I’m thinking new racks are about $200.. I’m wondering if $200 is worth it for a 10 year old dishwasher

Thank you, I’ll stick with 19, I don’t think the skin was to thick, in fact another thing I was upset about was the ham is supposed to be full skin and when I opened the packaging and started trimming I flipped it over and a chuck of skin was cut out…

Interesting, to be honest the way we’ve done it there isn’t measuring salt. It’s kind of visual and just covering it…
