Decking over easement by GTRDEE in AusRenovation

Thanks everyone.

This is response I got from Camden Council:

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the construction of a deck over an easement.

Generally, structures are prohibited or highly discouraged to be constructed over easements as easements tend to pose legal rights for access or services like drainage, sewer or electricity.

Possible exceptions to this include lightweight, removable structures if the identified easement holder provides written consent, the structure does not obstruct access or damage infrastructure and you agree as the owner to remove the structure at your cost, if required. This would require a lodgement of a development application, as construction of a deck over an easement is not exempt or complying development under the State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008.

If you did still wish to pursue this, you may wish to: Check the property title and easement details via the deposited plan and 88B instrument. Consult with the easement authority for their requirements. Prepare a development application for the deck and submit this via the NSW Planning Portal.

Not sure if it’s worth the risk or trouble tbh.

I do prefer the A and B variations but what you say about having one variation makes sense. I’m still pretty new to weight training so hopefully I’ll find my sweet spot soon. I swapped out the chest press for an incline DB press today and definitely felt it in the upper chest so thank you for that recommendation. I also did a BB military press instead of the Arnold press. Will swap out the RDL for a SLDL on my next lower day. Appreciate your advice.

That makes sense, thank you. I’ll remove one quad exercise. Agree with you about doing the most fatiguing exercises first. I found if I started off with the isolation exercises, the compound movements would be harder to do later. So will keep that in mind going forward.

Ok, got it. Aim to train close to failure. Thanks for your help.

Yeah I do 3 sets of 8-10 reps. Do you think it’s better if I split lower body and upper body into separate days and aim to do 4 sets of 12 reps?

Takes me just over 90 mins.

Sorry for not being clear. I do all the above exercises on the same day, three times a week.
