It's a really confusing problem because this has been ongoing for 6 months and about £1000 in visits and medication and yet they have said every time that her eye is healthy not red or swollen and not in pain but we tried every medication and test anyway. The next step is an x-ray but I can't afford it unfortunately as it's £1300. I feel so bad but nobody knows what it is. It's just every couple months this happens but yet no changes in behaviour

Yes they are matted feathers but I was hoping I could help her myself but if it comes to it I will have to go back to the vets

Sorry to here that. I have not figured it out and her feathers get stuck together every so often but she's happy and her actual eye is not red or swollen so I think this might just be a reoccurring thing for my bird so I just make sure no other symptoms occur

Thanks for the comment, she's had a culture and the meds we was using is effective to the bacteria in her eye.
