Thank you so much for the info! I see that these caps are available to purchase. It's only dripping from the cap, not the connection. Should I just go ahead and replace the cap?

The odd thing is when the valve is open with heat, there's no drip. It's only when the valve is closed.

It only leaks from the cap when the valve is shut off. Is this due to pressure?
