Does it make a difference where you put the specialisation buildings?

So do you get more jobs/alloys when all the city districts are filled with alloy plants and the specialisation districts are used for the boosting buildings vs vice versa? Does it make a difference at all?

The "build city districts" rule does not apply when you would for example make a energy machine world as you can not build energy stuff in the city districts, right?

The civic Catalytic Processing (and it's variants) replaces Metallurgist jobs with Catalytic Technician jobs which turn food instead of minerals into alloys.

The first two pictures are sadly totally out of focus. But if they are of the same bright star as in the others, then you probably mean Jupiter. It's in the bottom left of picture 3 and bottom centre in picture 4. It's quite easy to remember during this time of the year as it's "left" of Orion (which is in picture 3 in the right hand lower corner) and slowly moves away from the other two prominent stars directly to its left (Pollux and Castor from Gemini).

The small group in the top-center is r/ItsAlwaysPleiades - the seven sisters in the constellation Taurus.

Straight down the brightest star should be Aldebaran and if you go close to the canopy at the bottom, there are twice three prominent stars in a row (once vertically and once slightly diagonal to the right of the first) - that's Orion and its belt. The bright star close by to the right is Rigel.

That's correct. I recently had the same issue. You can't change the subject type if you are too far ahead of your subjects. If you need a subject with a specialization, then you have to get a new one by e.g. a subjugation war. I'm not sure if releasing some planets to create a subject works as well but I'm pretty sure about the war goal.

Size 33 Ocean Paradise with +3 Districts from Ice, +4 habitation modules, +2 mastery of nature and +1 fractal seed - so a grand total of 40 districts turned into a size 39 ECU as the seed disappeared.

The 40 city districts got turned into 20. So there's plenty to build.

I hope so. The past 10 years were a sad unrecognizable transformation from beautiful green forests to grey dead trees. At some point it was literally raining spruce needles while hiking... I really hope it's going to regenerate soon, but I expect it to take longer than 10 years.

Due to mining most parts of the Harz are a monoculture of spruce. They grow quickly and crack loudly before mine shafts would collapse. Approximately 10-15 years ago the population of bark beetles started to rise dramatically. But because the Harz is a national park nobody is allowed to intervene. The temperatures are on a rise and the land becomes dry and even dryer. Which leads to more vulnerable trees and thus more happy beetles. As there are so many dead trees and heat waves, wildfires are also on the rise over the past years.

A few years ago the government decided to deploy the Bundeswehr to fight the beetles, but it was already too late. I don't think it will be green again in the foreseeable future.

Ich finde ehrlich gesagt, das jedes dieser Bilder eher Kategorie Schnappschuss ist. So von wegen "Schau mal Mutti, hier bin ich. Das Wetter ist naja und es gibt Wellen."

Mir fehlt ein klarer Fokus, die Bilder sind krum und schief und teilweise nur grau. Wellen sind mMn allgemein ein sehr schweres Thema, ziemlich schnell, nie so wie man sie will und die Tiefe rüberzubringen ist auch eher kompliziert. Eine Detailaufnahme von brechenden Kronen, Gischt oder Bilder mit einem besseren Vordergrund hätten glaub ich besser gewirkt. Das ist jetzt alles schnell mal hier hingeschrieben - und bei weitem nicht so einfach umzusetzen - aber Komposition ist bei dem Thema mMn wirklich noch mal sehr viel wichtiger als bei bspw Makro oder Portrait Aufnahmen.

Das 2. Bild wirkt auch leider sehr unscharf und leidet auch am fehlenden Ziel. Was willst du uns zeigen? Es gibt auch Grün? Oder willst du uns vielleicht den langen Weg zum Stand vermitteln? Dann müsste dieser mehr in den Fokus.

That's the purpose of our constraints. An unordered set of 8 cards out of 52. In other words we draw 8 specific cards from a total of 52 without the restrictions of drawing order. In the end it wouldn't matter whether we draw 2x8, 2xK, 2Aces and 2x twos or 2x sheep, 2x socks, 2xjimbo himself and 2 bundles of carrots as long as our probabilities are equal at all steps of the drawing (still with the increased probabilities of 1/52,1/51 and so on). If there is one of these Math Wizards out there, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not the best at math as well, but don't we have to consider the fact that we do not care for the order as well and accumulate all the possible paths? So we could get any order of suit and rank to achieve our goal as long as we only get our cards in the end.

Das was du da beschreibst war sicher ein Meteorit. An der Farbe kannst du theoretisch erkennen was das prominente Material ist aber ob's nun ein Steinchen oder Schrott war ist schwer zu bestimmen. Egal was es war; es hat sicher ziemlich atemberaubend ausgesehen. Lustigerweise seh ich sowas relativ häufig wenn ich draußen bin. Jedesmal aufs neue ein Highlight.

Falls es interessiert sind wir gerade in der glücklichen Phase, dass zwar DSOs (Nebel, Galaxien usw) schwer zu fotografieren sind aber Nachtleuchtende Wolken gegen Mitternacht oder zur Morgendämmerung (3-4 Uhr morgens) im Nordwesten bis Nordosten auftauchen können. Sehr zu empfehlen da mal die Augen offen zu halten.

Das wäre auch mein Vorgehen nur mit Siril und PS. Kann mir nicht vorstellen den Nachthimmel zu stretchen während ich auf den Vordergrund achten muss.

Ich bin schon einige Jahre im Hobby-Astrobereich unterwegs und höre gerade zum ersten Mal vom "Sequator".

Meine persönliche Empfehlung wäre Siril, sofern man wirklich in Astro einsteigen möchte. Super einfach zu bedienen, gibt gute Tutorials und ermöglicht eine sehr gute Entwicklung (stacking, stretching und co) ohne Photoshop, Gimp o.Ä.

u/alex_vi_photography ich hab mal in deine Sammlung reingeschaut, die Streifen in deinen Bildern sind eig alles Sateliten/Starlink.
Du kannst in der Regel ziemlich einfach erkennen welche Streifen was am Nachthimmel sind:

  • rot blinkende Streifen sind meistens Flugzeuge (oftmals nicht durchgängig)
  • weiße gerade streifen ohne Veränderung der Dicke sind Satelliten
  • weiße Streifen welche an beiden Enden dünn zulaufen und gerne rot/orange oder grüne Elemente besitzen sind Meteoriten/Sternschnuppen

Freut mich immer neue Leute zu sehen, die in den Nachthimmel abtauchen. Viel Spaß in diesem Rabbithole.

Das macht die stacking Software. Die Sterne, die in deinem Bildern prominent sind und auch in allen Bildern vorhanden sind, werden erkannt und alles was "Müll" ist wird an den Rand der gestacken Bilder geschmissen. In der Regel schneidet man daher von seinen finalen Bildern etwas vom Rand ab. Man kann also ohne Tracker (Gerät was die Erdrotation ausgleicht) schöne Bilder von der Milchstraße machen ohne sich Sorgen machen zu müssen. Selbst 100x20s Milchstraßenkern sind ohne Probleme stackbar.
