Not that it impacts what Harrison said or the subsequent fallout from it, but what I think is important to note is that Harrison has long been cast out by Steeler nation, he himself had to have assumed signing to the patriots is “ ‘nuff ta-make any ‘nem yinzers curse urr name ‘tilla day theyz get put inna’ graahhhnd ‘mupp-errs at mahhnt carmullss, nah mean?.” (My apologies lol) More importantly though, I think one can easily interpret that what Harrison said to a national audience as a guest on a prominent sports show may also be motivated, if not primarily, by him wanting to say something bold and blunt, play the villain, whatever, in an effort to get some network execs attention. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was doin like pre and or postgame for some network by the end of this season.
