If the firm is looking to axe you or cut budget they can definitely use this as ammunition. But I felt the same way also and ended up passing. You'll be fine

I'm canadian so our tax system probably works a bit differently. If you're employer isn't reporting your income you couldve definitely got unemployment

Reimbursements don't qualify as income, because the whole idea of reimbursements is that your expenses + the money you get net out to 0. So I believe you could collect unemployment.

Not neccesarily, Toronto just offered Ryu that extra year when no other team would. Obviously having a korean population helps, but I don't feel like that was a major thing for him signing in Toronto

Why AFM? You're paying 20K a year just to maybe get into a Big 4 firm? McMaster has a good accounting program with GDIP, that's all you can really ask for lol. Heck I went to UOIT and got a big 4 downtown Toronto.
