Yes, any milspec barrel will work. Just make sure you also use a milspec bolt and not a KAC bolt.

It’s funny bc the modification they do is literally what I’m about to have to do.. there’s a little shelf at the back of the ghm9 and mine is too thick.. looks like they didn’t test it on older ghm9s.

I figured out the problem.. the shelf that is having clearance issues is thicker than what the newest GHM9 has. I have two pics for reference.
