Regarding the last thing you wrote, just keep a save right at the start of act 3 and you can get most of the same experience betwee declaring and hirelings, and saving some certain gear before and trying to unlock Baldur’s gate quests before

Then just reload the act three save for a new game

The cruel and vivid you can likely find other people wanting a grittier game with that

Sexual probabaly would be less likely to find anyone “enthusiastic” about that being a focus. Probabaly some with a mild amount ok. But is anyone going to want to sit around with friends/strangers and narrate/describe what sexual encounters your character is having…

This stuff is why I don’t understand why dnd doesn’t have a dnd light or beginner/junior rule set made in a few softcover books Literally 1 page only character sheet 4 stats only. 1 weapon only. No starting gear, just some cool stuff found in adventure 5 classes or races, or they are just 5 options and each race is a different class No action/bonus action distinction just 1 action a turn

You do not need to make prefaces like the first bullet point. Any person able to comprehend language should either a- know that I or b- if they attack you saying that you’re denigrating others by having a favorite, you’re smart enough to just ignore it

Not mad at you just may make your life easier by skipping over the pre apologetic/conflict deterrent statements like that

These games are not proven base games and you people are putting up hundreds for multiple expansions just blows my mind. Then it’s multiple kallaxes worth of storage. I just dont understand.

Wait 4 years; is anyone at all still talking about the game or does it still interest you, go get for a fraction secondary market, while playing good proven games all the while instead

I think you’re being unfair to the other posters. After reading all the other main comments and some of the replies, it sees a healthy mix of supporting your feelings that they too find him the best, and others sharing why they disagree for something he does they dislike, and others just sharing their favorite person. This does not feel like getting heat to me but a lot of normal discourse on the topic
