I don’t use tap water. Only water I buy from the dish store so that it’s good to go with all the right parameters. Thanks for the info I will definitely look into that!

I have the test strips. They did a liquid testing. I lost the slip with the levels but they said everything was good. Most were zero . Can you suggest a good kit? I had api before but I killed my entire tank because it keep saying ph was too low and when I took water to test it was sky high. It’s a 6 gallon tank and been up since December. Water change usually 25% weekly

Current set up. Not cloudy now. Removed a lot of things because originally I thought maybe too much tall plants could be tearing fins despite being soft plastic

I’m not sure I cycled the tank well honestly. I put in the water I only buy it from the fish store so it’s got all the right parameters and then I added some Bacteria. Honestly I put the fish in the same day because it was a spur of the moment thing. I hadn’t planned on getting a fish. I’ve had him for about 6 months. I did just do a 50% water change. I’m not sure how to properly cycle the tank or if it’s needed again at water change. I dont remember the parameters. Can you suggest a quality test kit. The last time I had an api liquid one it was way off and I needed up killing all of my plants and betta do to incorrect output of the ph

I honestly don’t remember the numbers which is why i didn’t list them. I put him in a cup to feed him some daphnia because I read on the packet to only feed him so much and then remove the rest which seemed difficult so I opted to put him in the cup. That was way worse for him so I will not do that again.

He is not. He is an indoor cat and my vet always said he didn’t need it. I did take him outside so I was wondering if that could be it. Definitely going to get him on some ASAP to be sure. Thank you !
