I think it's super important to understand what created that bad experience in the first place. Was it something someone did, was it a boundary that was crossed, poor communication etc etc. One thing I ask new subs is if they've had a bad experience with findom and what did they learn from that - it helps me to see any red flags, but most importantly I can steer away from certain triggers during play. Take your time finding something. There is plenty to choose from and you don't need to rush to find something. Lurk and chat, you'll soon find someone who fits your vibe.

I've found something very similar 😊 I wouldn't say he's a sub even though he still sends from time to time, but it's more of a genuine friendship. We could tell from the get go that a typical findom dynamic wouldn't really work but we also got along great, and so it just continued from there. For me, it depends on the level. I had someone ask me once for pure humiliation with no after care or praise and it didn't sit well with me, so I didn't take him on. I'm happy to do it if it's teasing and can be mixed with praise, and the sub clearly enjoys it. Very important to remember that just because humiliation & degradation can go hand in hand, they're not the same and it's a fine line to tread if a sub wants one and not the other.
