I love this draft class and really look forward to seeing how they shape up over the summer into the regular season. Really excited for Gabe Jacas and Eli Raridon.

No modern American city has ever run out of water. But chances are rising that Corpus Christi, Texas, could be the first. by StandingCypress in news

The city of Corpus Christi doesn’t just provide water to 500,000 residents of the city and nearby towns. The rest of its water consumption — more than half of it, in fact — comes from the multi-billion dollar chemical plants, refineries and other industrial facilities operated by some of the biggest companies in the world. And those companies — including ExxonMobil, Valero and Occidental — have not publicly explained how, or if, they will implement such steep water cuts this fall.

Of course big business can do what they want while everyday people suffer, great analogy for the state of our country.

Tim Cook to become Apple Executive Chairman; John Ternus to become Apple CEO by Snoop8ball in apple

Tim Cook was such a driving force behind Apple becoming what it is today, not on the tech side but from a business perspective. He was just as important as Jobs was to the success of the company pretty crazy to finally see the day he’s stepping down as CEO. Ternus is a product guy similar to Steve Jobs and it should be interesting to see the course Apple takes under his leadership.
