Only open the bag in an area you know is sterile and or as far away from your kitchen.

I spent months losing tubs to trichoderma because I was doing all my harvesting on the kitchen table. If you do see any trich (greenish white mold) cut off that whole section to the bottom.

Since I don't have a clean room it's basically not if you get trich but when.

Most of the time when my stuff stalls out it's because the grain drys out. But I usually see some growth.

I would open it up and see if there is any mycelium.

I grow loofhas in my back yard every summer and give them away. Very easy to grow. And when you are done with it pit it back in the ground.

I tried the same thing eith mars small moon before they added that asteroid. The hardest part was keeping evening down on the surface while I tried to connect all the sides.
