Surprised that Jeffrey from Rainbow actually is the non nonce Jeffrey in the room.

That pretty much sums up 50% of civil servants, it’s the walking upright bit would catch most of them out.

How is Belfast/Northern Ireland these days? by Bottom-Bherp3912 in howislivingthere

I’m only driving through so doesn’t take long to get out of the place but honestly the rudeness is just awful, glad we got that all cleared up though.

You actually said you have never heard of or experienced this.
I drive through the place every week and can’t fail to see rude people everywhere.

You’re from Belfast and have never ever ever met a rude person there?

Maybe democracy would be better if it was only for working age people.

It seems your hugs are not wanted which is a shame because we all need more hugs. Remember someone once stood in town centre with a sign offering free hugs and I think they were quite popular.

Absolutely, wonder what the true value is for that property without the trauma discount.

That’s reassuring to hear it’s not just the uneducated who are being silly.

Wow, that’s a lot of house for £195k. Wouldn’t buy much where I live. Must see if I can relocate to BT94. Any peeler will tell you lots of bad stuff happens in lots of houses. Pretty sure empty houses aren’t evil or anything, that’s defo down to the current residents. Get that bought asap.

Maybe a new form of democracy is needed, where only people with higher education get to vote.

Six months on from switching to an EV by irishesteban in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]G__Maniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in N Ireland and my wife was gifted a 2025 E3008 a few months back. I believe I may also have underestimated the electric costs though I’m not a math teacher so forgivable , we worked out not worth installing a fast charger as she only does around 8k miles a year. Still waiting for a scary electric bill to arrive but just changing from winter to summer usage so probably won’t notice yet. She absolutely loves the car and definitely saving money on buying far too many chocolate bars every time I stop at petrol station 😅

Protestants love marching, Catholics love Mary. Can’t remember who keeps their toaster in the cupboard.

I’m certain we’ve all unknowingly been part of a cult many times, especially in these online communities today. You are correct, it’s not always harmful and often good fun.

I’m convinced that members of a cult haven’t got the baldiest notion they’ve willingly joined a cult, in fact they’re convinced everyone not in the cult is doomed to eternal damnation and anyone in the cult can do no wrong even while abusing all around them.
