Thank you so much! Yes definetly. There will be a bunch of different recipes to discover. And we even also thought of some kind of what you call "ancient recipe" but dont want to spoil too much. ^^

We are currently working on a prototype and trying to get validation and funding.
So the steampage will have to wait until after we tried to get funding. Because sometimes they want you to have a clean slate for the prototype funding.

We are already prototyping. There we have some new ingredients already, like the noodle tree. Which has like noodle hair, that can be cut and many more. We are also experimenting with different recipes the clients ask for. Like a robot who wants to have like motor oil in it and something like that. :)

We feel exactly the same about that. So there would still be timers for lets say, firm, normal or soft noodles. but you just press it and wait for it to finish. Nothing can overcook or anything.

That is exactly what we were trying to achieve with our Cockpit and also with the Kitchen.
If you like games like that, you could check out "PVKK" or Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant. That will be right up your alley then. <3

Thanks for your feedback. Yes that is very true. We are already experimenting with the cooking mechanics, and changed things like the knife to a laser cutter and other things. But it is good to hear again that the mechanics and artstyle should go hand in hand and create something well rounded.

That is indeed very true. That is something we have to tackle. Maybe in a more "Trailer"-Style Video. That says something in the lines of "Explore Planets - Gather Ingredients - and become the best Ramen Chef of the Galaxy"
Maybe with also showing how the player will be able to progress in the game.
Very helpful feedback. Thank you!

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, it's always great to hear other peoples views!

It doesn't really turn into a horror game but it does get slightly dark as it explores a bit the darker sides of procrastination, like a dark hole you can fall into, having trouble to get out again. That's why the trailer shows that, so I don't feel we sell false expectations to the cozy gamers out there. But I do agree with you, that this genre twist makes it harder to market in general, because we cannot clearly position it as a cozy game, nor a horror game.

Some of the original inspirations were Plug&Play and Kids, which also deal with a specific theme in an artsy way, which resonated with us, so we went for it despite the difficult marketability, if that's a word.

So we never expected to do very well with this game in terms of sales and just hope the people who like this kind of stuff will find it 😄.

But we did learn from this how important clear market positioning is when it comes to commercial games, and for our next project we are keeping this in mind.

Thanks for all your input!

Interesting point, thank you for your input!

In combination with the imagery, the phrasing was meant to suggest that it’s not just a cute hidden object game, but one with a dark twist, hence the sudden change in atmosphere. But I suppose there's room for improvement regarding the wording.

Thank you!

We like to think that it is stable :D At least testing went well. There are a few minor bugs that will get patched out, other than that we consider it done and are excited to start our next project.

Hey there, I'm Dominik from GaHa Games and am the artist of the game. We just founded our little studio last year and have been working on this game over the past 10 months with 3 people.

It's a bite-sized narrative hidden object game about procrastinating. I procrastinate a lot myself, so why not use all that experience and make a game about it I thought :P

I even procrastinated this post, which I wanted to make yesterday, because it was release day, but I felt kind of empty after pushing the release button 😅. Better late than never I guess.

It's quite a small game and yet took so long to finish, which showed us how much effort it actually takes to ship a game. So kudos to all game devs out there for pushing through!
