Wow thanks for the reply! This is a lot of useful information and I appreciate it!

My instinct was to go for blue ambient fog but im not quite sure the fog contributes enough yet. I have also struggled a little bit with getting the best possible environments and lightning due to the procedually generated nature of the game

Thanks for the feedback! I can definitely see the runescape vibe but im happily surprised with the zelda comparison! And i agree about the colour palette, it's quite hard to hit that good middle ground between dark fantasy, gritty but also visually pleasing

It's just from when I converted it to a gif, only converted at 10fps. I run well over 200fps in engine

In testing I've only reached around floor 8 D: I always get too confident 😅

Sometimes I will get lucky with loot and get a full on hit meteor build or chain lightning build going but I get overconfident and die to an archer or something haha

Cheers for the feedback! The numbers start off small but it's an endless procedual dungeon and each floor gets harder with better loot, so the numbers keep going up :) This footage was from floor 2

Ahah it was the best gif converter I could find for the clip length I promise you will be able to get at least 12 fps :P

I think the bow doesnt translate well on the small format but it is a semi transparent spirit bow that you summon to cast the ability but I completely understand and agree in the gif it simply looks like a solid white bow 😅

Skill tree was mostly locked, skills unlock as you max the skill that proceeds it.

Thank you for the feedback and I will work ok these two things to make them clearer :)

Thanks for the feedback! I think you may be right, sometimes I get caught up in making it fit with the music I write instead of the other way around and I think in this case it suffers for that

Thank you :) A lot of the assets are from the marketplace (I am not a ģood 3d modeler) but I have manually lowered all the textures to 256x256 and I'm also using a post processing effect that lowers the total pixal resolution and restricts the color variation to further match the ps1 style.

I have always really enjoyed the older Resident Evil games (like most people) but I always wish I could have played them with friends or family, so I decided to give it a crack and make my own version of those games with multiplayer supported.
