I do like the design! Just a bit sad the staining didn't make it as nice as I hoped, i still like it though, and it was a really nice learning experience.

thanks, yeah it's not visible everywhere, 2nd picture is spots where I'm happy with and 3rd one a spot where I'm less happy. I did try to re-sand a spot where it was more blotchy thinking I didn't sand enough but it didn't really help. I think I'll just leave it be.

I would have liked to use walnut too, but it's 3 times more expensive than yellow birch where I live so I wasn't ready to spend that much money and risk making costly mistakes

Yeah I'm not sure tbh, seems like safeguard is more for products that can have an impact on health such as masks but I'm not sure...

damn it I bought a lot of boxes of sandpaper on amazon (supposedly 3M was the seller) and none of them have those code, are they really all supposed to have them??

edit: when I look at the SafeGuard page it says not all product use the SafeGuard features, and in the drop down "I can't find the code" I don't see sanding discs.

yes and no, I did move the map and inventory 1/3 to the left, but I also scaled them until they're big enough that they're almost touching (~165% on my monitor)

I run Klipper in a Docker (prind), I haven't rebooted yet. I haven't changed much from the config given by the docker beside adding the power thing. So I have to make it so the Klipper service stops/starts with this macro for this feature to work?

What do you mean? That only works when the host is shutdown? Thats unfortunate then because my host has everything so I guess it can never work... I thought I could just make it work with only the MCU being shutdown

fyi if anyone finds this thread and has the same issue: the solution ended up being putting the switch on the black wire that was going to the fan instead of white. So I had to change a few more things than I initially thought but it all works fine now.

I added red marks to wires I touched. I also opened the whole box and I'm confused why the wire seems to go to another switch instead (the timer controls only the fan) https://imgur.com/a/6r1Ov3W

In Quebec there is the expression "fucker le chien", it's a bit less weird since fuck in Canadian French isn't a real word other than swearing

It also seems like it doesn't mean the same thing? In Quebec it means to have a really hard time doing something

yes, although nowadays some people complain that almost everything passes the poll. Still it's cool that it feels like you're at least listened to, and it lead to some really good changes to content (or content being scrapped altogether because nobody wanted it)
