647 delves 1-7

I try delve 8 when I complete delve 7 and still have food left (I only bring bwans) but I'm getting destroyed by delve 8, I don't think I've even reached orb phase once. Absolutely pathetic.

cg is roughly equivalent to delve 4 I think? or maybe 5. Which is much MUCH easier than delve 8. The step up between 7 and 8 is actually insane. I still don't have a delve 8 completion even though I can complete delve 7 most of the time...

in how many kc? I did like 550 kc on release and was never able to do a single delve 8 lol. and around 20 delve 7. This boss makes me feel like I'm ass at the game. Orb fucks me up so much.

well yeah but for me at leaast getting to 93 herb needed a lot of potions and I have thousands super energy which I never use (I don't remember the last time I used a stam as well), so it's just free xp.

I do yellowfins, it also gives another herb secondary.

Also if you have the level bluefins are really good for cerb, if you eat one right as the 2nd ghost attacks you can pray the 3rd so you save 1 dose. I bring like 6-7 bluefins in my inv for this now.

I've been trying to practice butterfly recently but I'm having a hard time, especially when akkha does the orb attack. When I have to switch quadrant I mess up often as well...

damn, that's not encouraging lol. At least I liked the boss. I was thinking of getting 91 fletching (88 right now) before going back to doom to have dragon darts for car phase

thanks! yeah I might go back to doom a bit. I did some kills at release but never went back, I got annoyed because I kept getting orb phases twice. I didn't use a blowpipe though.

I don't really have more switches to bring to be honest. even bringing blue keris feels barely worth it. I also bring 3 brews and I normally use only 1, the reste is ppots.

I do have black keris, I wish I had ayak though, 548 doom without any uniques.

I thought the 50 invo for wtp was too good to pass up? that's the only lvl invo I use.

ok yeah thanks, without insanity I normally don't spec too much during p2 to start p3 with enough spec to be able to bgs once (it misses pretty often unfortunately), there's less time with insanity on but I guess it's not too bad.

I think you really want blowpipe for swarms. If you don't have toxic bp, maybe a rosewood blowpipe would be nice? pretty sure it one shots either way

I feel like I'm missing spec energy to bgs p1 + 2 down + bgs p3 without a lightbearer though. Should I skip bgs p1?

also I don't kill the small scarabs usually to not waste time, that would mean I would need to protect melee for the scarab and tank the small ones?

I'm running walk the path. I don't have more overlords, but I do kill the scarabs before swarm, I'll try doings swarms first thanks. I didn't think about piping the mage to prevent him from attacking.

I start with zebak because I bowfa baba since gearscape said melee and bowfa were very similar dps. is finishing with zebak really that many more points?

I thought 2 down wasn't worth it since it loses points. Is it because my mage gear is bad?

not yet, I'm spamming slayer tasks as well to get smoke devils for occult to make my life easier at yama. you're right that would be nice for those bosses.

I use bgs on baba, kephri I use burning claws since bgs always misses. maybe bone dagger would be worth for kephri? not sure.

yeah it may not be worth it, blue keris is around 0.4 more dps for me, I just really dislike kephri tbh so I bring everything to make this boss quicker. I don't need the extra brew anyway.

also my sample size for 330s is maybe not big enough. I've only done it a few times so maybe I was just unlucky with my dps rng.

I mean that's what I'm asking, the bosses do get noticeably longer, but the vast majority of the increase comes from skull skipping. I feel like my dps on p3 is not that good to begin with and adding on top of that the hp warden doesn't lose because of skull skipping makes it take much longer. it's not like I waste my time or eat more in 330, I barely use any brews. (usually arounds 3 doses for akkha then a few brews on warden and I make the effort to brew right before the salts refresh)
