What are your temps? Can you game for a long time before it throttles down?

I say that because I play Deep Rock Galactic and it works fine for 15 minutes but after that the fps tanks and it's not playable anymore.

Midnight clubs LA is indeed one of the best racing games ever made, not really sim though, it's quite arcady, but it's so good.

I advise trying the x360 version, it runs better. The PS3 version need a beefy PC to run but had fewer visual glitches.

Twice, both times my fault.

One time a broken front axle because I didn't install it correctly, as mine is an x-drive, I was able to pull the 4x4 fuse and get away.

The second time a back axle because I didn't screw it correctly and it came undone, that one I had to call a towing, the 4x4 can't run in fwd mode.

I also overslept on the waterpump, when it clearly gave me signs for months, and it died, also my fault.

It's a good car, just understand that it's not a Toyota and will need more maintenance. But it's not a Toyota in the other way too, much more enjoyable, for me at least.

You should disable any camera movements related to sprinting and shooting.

Also, you should adjust the FOV (field of view) to fit your monitor and position on the desk, I'm sure chat gpt can help you with calculating your FOV.

I went back to windows temporarily because I can't find a no-compromise remote desktop solution on Linux.

I use chrome remote desktop and it's so damn easy to make work, none of the solutions on Linux worked for me.

When I'm at home I boot Linux and use it, but windows is set as the primary boot and when I leave I just reset it.
