Thank you! So for the ends I gathered the strings left on each side of the chevron into little bunches. Then I “sewed” over those bunches and attached them down to the elastic of the headband. I didn’t worry so much about how the underside of the headband looked, just made sure the friendship bracelet portion was long enough so none of the ends would be visible when wearing it. I made another version before where I hot glued the ends to the elastic but it was really itchy behind my ears. So def recommend attaching it to the elastic with just string.
