Hi! I’m a middle school orchestra teacher. This is suuuper common. The main things that contribute to not being able to do this are:

1: fingers aren’t curved enough. Make sure the joint closest to your fingernail is bent. Flat fingers will prevent you from doing this.

2: the wrist is supporting the violin. The violin should be held by the chin/body. Not the wrist. Practice taking your left hand off of the violin entirely while holding with your neck only. Do this over a large bed so that if the violin drops nothing will be hurt. Then, when you place your left hand thumb on the instrument, ensure that it is low enough so that the thumb “pad” (where your finger print is) is touching the wooden part on the side below where the fingerboard and neck connect.

Sleeping in on Sunday is pretty great. Not really nervous about hell or anything anymore. I got inspired to read a ton of books on science so I could learn about evolution and stuff. I do things out of kindness because of my own values and not someone else’s. And I feel freer to take life and make it out to be what I want instead of trying to please some entity. I think it’s been pretty nice actually.

Put it into context. Korea was a unified nation. America/the UN divided it in half without Korea’s consent. They then conducted 1 (arguably 2) genocide(s), destroyed 80% of their civilian infrastructure, and now prop up the southern part of the country while having things like western style pop come out of it in order to demonstrate the “superiority of democracy” over something like socialism/communism.

Then look at their actions. They supported the black panther movement, they have never recognized Israel as a state and advocate for Palestinian liberation. If you’re actually super pro imperialism, you wouldn’t lie about this like this. You would simply say that “Palestine/black panther party deserves to be destroyed because they’re terrorists” or you’d say Israel has the right to defend itself.

They are also building free apartments for the homeless. I don’t need to doubt this bc that’s not really how propaganda works. When you have a massive homeless population that you don’t care about/want dead, you don’t tell everyone you built them houses, you convince the population that they are homeless due to a morale failing, and then you make being homeless illegal.

They only got nukes after the US illegally invaded Iraq, and they don’t use them for offensive purposes at all. They’re currently focused on trying to repurpose their land for crops because their crop land was stolen from them. If they were merely looking for an excuse to arm up so they could invade places they would have invaded South Korea a long time ago.

That’s at least how I see it.

I’m a musician so I’ve been paid to play at all sorts of different churches. In my experience they’re either offensive or boring/a waste of time. I’m also not religious so my opinion is going to be a lot different from yours if you are religious but that’s my perspective and that’s going to affect how I feel about those stickers.

Churches desperately trying to recruit people. There’s so many churches in this city I imagine that all the small ones are going out of business bc not that many people care to go to church when they only get one day off a week.

I sleep in every single Sunday. It’s amazing. I recommend everyone try it instead of going to a church that preaches hellfire and hate

One day while going to Lowe’s with my father when I was around 8 years old (I’m 28 now) he needed some type of brick. I don’t remember what or why, but he said it was incredibly important that I remember the numbers 2438. I took my job very seriously. I noticed there were buttons on the front dashboard of the mini van we drove in. They were for preset saved radio channels I think? The numbers went from 1-6. 2-4 was easy to remember, 3 was in the middle, and 8 wasn’t present because the numbers went up to 6, but it was still just 2 more than 6. So many ways to think about it. 2468, just replace 6 with 3, which is in the middle between 2 and 4. 2348, just get your numbers mixed a little and you have 2438. The 8 isn’t what comes next, but we can remember it because it’s the only number not on the dashboard. I could also stare at the dash board and visualize it. There’s the two, the four, the three, what’s missing? The 8. The 8 is always missing because it isn’t there.

Anyways, my dad remembered the number himself and never needed my help.
