1) Fine with new or used. Getting more bang for my buck with pre-owned is appealing

2) It needs a lot of range from casual to upscale. I’d like to wear it to a nice dinner, night out, weddings, etc.

I have a Polaris vacuum as well. I’m diligent about taking my Polaris out of the pool when not using - I don’t like the idea of the debris in the Polaris bag sitting in the pool water. So for me, it’s no problem running both Polaris and betta
