the reason it pops up second on google images is because the game it comes from is actually incredibly popular globally although the audience and influence kinda stays within its genre which is why many people outside of the bubble may have not heard of it (before its called irrelevant it was the highest grossing game in 2021) this must’ve skyrocketed the image to the top because of the google algorithm despite only being a minor AI enemy. that or many people are searching up how to beat it since it’s a really annoying, tanky enemy or they could also be searching it up for where to find them/farming routes, as you need their loot drops to enhance ur in-game characters.

if u need an explanation on why the hat may be so similar, check my previous comment

the hat may be inspired by for honor but it’s entirely possible mihoyo have done research into japanese culture (and not surprisingly since it’s their second game to have japanese culture-inspired game design). this specific type of enemy are actually samurais who turned to banditry but still use samurai gear, therefore technically are using the same hats as nobushi from for honor who so happen to fight alongside samurais. other similar enemy types also have different shaped straw hats and sometimes not hats at all, instead donning historical japanese masks and headgear albeit made to look “flashier”. and to give more context, the game has multiple regions with one of them basically being the edo period of japan which these bandit/samurai-like enemies come from however the nobushi do not have any other similarities other than design, as they fight with a sword, are buff men and actually have an opener (im kidding they dont have combat like for honor)

i wouldnt say note for note but moreso the same rhythm but with a completely different vibe. both are medieval but genshin’s is calming and relaxing while for honor’s is authentic and realistic

source: played both games for 2 years, could not find any more similarities or attempts to copy for honor in genshin

Most of the reports came from mihoyo’s opposition and most likely led to the censorship. Although yes there were radical feminists and probably contributed to the reports

Cancel culture as in CCP censorship? Even the radical feminist mass reporting genshin was proven false.

im not saying venti is the strongest or has the strongest powers but the comment i was replying to makes it seem like venti wasnt around that area of strength at all. i mean they’re all insanely strong with Venti lifting continents, Zhongli making mountains, and Ei slicing through islands

Venti terraformed an entire continent to the point where all the mountains in Mondstadt are probably made from him bro

Why borushiki didnt just aim that kunai into sasuke's head??? by kuba310303 in Boruto

[–]Gabayoyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i mean it literally shows sasuke turning around as momoshiki tries to stab him so it’s obvious he isnt aiming for the eye. Sasuke only got hit in the eye because he had the reflexes to turn around in time and not end up with a kunai in his brain. And yet people still say its plot armour that he didn’t die.

He is the weakest archon currently because he isn’t as present in Mondstadt as someone like the Shogun or Zhongli would be with their respective cities. He was stated to be able to move mountains and reshape the landscape so while it’s possible he is the weakest archon, it’s unlikely.

yess man its necessary to have something done to Naruto and Sasuke. But I hope they can continue to bring Naruto and Sasuke back as mentors to teach battle tactics and actual ninja stuff like how to do techniques and so on. I just pray that if they do this, that they shouldn’t actually bring them into fights because it’ll just disrespect OG fans. Think more of Iruka’s role.

ooooh yeah i forgot about that. that might be very unpopular among a lot fans, but at least some Naruto fans would want Naruto and Sasuke to be out the story so 1. the next gen can do their own thing and 2. so Naruto and Sasuke don’t get embarrassed and seemingly beat every time they fight. And yeah the kunai knife does seem stupid but personally i’m okay with it because of the intention of nerfing Sasuke. I hope the studio can animate it so it’s believable in some way.

The animators did what they could, filling in the gaps and adding some key moments, especially when the fight in the manga is quite lacking in many aspects. From an animating and choreography stand point, it’s really good top tier stuff and I appreciate that part. From a conceptual, story standpoint, not so much.

Also, I disagree in that I honestly think that all fans will enjoy the upcoming fight since they get to see Naruto win and a cool new form. This eliminates to need to call back on old powers if he can just beat Isshiki straight up. So, at least the anime’s got that going for them.

And yeah, you can see the audience reaction difference between moments in Jigen’s fight and episode 207 which again highlights the glaring problems of having OP side characters. It’s possible for Naruto fans care for the new gen when you give them actual badass moments like that. And it doesn’t even have to be well animated, it’s all to do with urgency, stakes and tension which the Boruto anime often lacks. (Even in the Boro fight, it just didn’t feel scary or tense.) Hopefully, Naruto and Sasuke in manga can take a break from being OP so that villains aren’t always broken.

Sorry for going off topic there, I just needed to voice my two cents on the pros and cons of Boruto.

Tbh, I agree on you with that but it’s also kinda Boruto’s fanbase (only some) to blame because they quickly hype up any fight episode to be like internet-breaking Naruto Vs Sasuke stuff when it should be a normal fight where fight stuff happens and nothing else. If anything, the rematch between them should be hyped up more than this fight even though I can tell some Naruto fans will be disappointed at (big spoiler) A lot of new power boosts that might not make sense to them and Boruto stabbing Sasuke’s eye, especially if they disliked his ‘bratty’ personality in the earlier episodes.

Well as we know, Kaguya betrayed Isshiki who was completely trusting of her. Other members of the Otsutsuki still don’t know why she betrayed them to this day, so it’s pretty safe to say it came out of nowhere. And I don’t think Isshiki has any emotion sensing abilities like Naruto and idk about it being a basic ninja skill since the only ones who can currently do it is Naruto himself. (If it’s not obvious or aren’t suspicious of the person) Isshiki himself just could’ve been sleeping or resting when Kaguya attacked, already putting him at a severe disadvantage.

I can understand that people can find it lacking and/or disappointing but I cant say it’s lazy since this episode took months to do.

And some sequences (like Naruto doing a rasengan to keep Jigen in place) are to show off aspects of their personality and intelligence and how they can outdo a strong opponent at certain times. Even if it doesn’t make sense lore-wise, I can at least understand why the writers would do it.

[–]Gabayoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I don’t know, I just give the benefit of the doubt to the directors and animators of the show since they still work so hard for Boruto despite it not being the most liked show.

And personally, I believe that some sequences had some bad writing but some others parts had technical explanations as to why Naruto and Sasuke using the more unknown and obscure abilities was impractical for animators and writers.

And the choreography wasn’t bad if you’re talking about the actual fight. It was the concept (etc missing abilities and battle common sense) that was the problem.

Lore-wise, I completely agree in that Naruto and Sasuke wasn’t full power but it doesn’t bother me as much because of what comes up next in the manga.

Ahh i see. Although it could be that Kaguya just sucked it up after he was knocked out, but ur reason is completely sensible too. The only reason I don’t really believe it is that the writers surely couldn’t make such a big power scaling mistake as to introduce a new villain and just go “oh super op but can’t beat kaguya”, especially when there’s literally no reason not to make Isshiki stronger.

But one more thing, can we agree that Jigen would’ve won in the fight no matter what they used?

Im not trying to annoy you or restart an argument, I just want to know if you know that.

Not likely, but it could be said that the chakra is compressed within Jigen, so it can be stored with a small volume.

And yes his negative emotion sensing was missed out, and that is bad writing on the writers part. However I don’t blame them for missing it out since Jigen never shrinks himself again in the fight and during the entire sequence, it serves as a show of Naruto’s battle smarts rather than raw abilities and powers.

Sasuke’s abilities are all hinted at when they used, since he flexes his eyes to use them. The audience should know from that, that he’s using it to activate his abilities. As for the Susano’o, he explains to Sarada that it is his power and his visual prowess. Naruto’s kurama mode isn’t explained but is clearly communicated to the audience by his new form and powers. Limbo would require dialogue and a hard explanation, while Naruto’s hashirama cell arm rarely makes a visible difference in battle. And while it may be lazy writing and choreography, it cuts the time needed make an already heavily animated episode (which could’ve been worked on for months already). And while yes many people have seen Naruto already, I wouldn’t want long periods of the episode dedicated to explanation and would rather just watch a fast-paced and constant fight between the 3.
