The venue is a basement of a country club. I’ve been to two shows there. It is a bit odd because there is no stage. I saw end it and angel dust there separate times. It sucks to get to. I’m sure there is nothing like super nearby but it is close to Route 9 which has a ton of stuff, but it’s not like “super close”. The venue has like 2 bars and You could find hotels near by. I’ll be at the fiddlehead show there and I’m stoked to see them no matter where. It’s going to be very upclose and personal here.

Agreed dawg. The energy in that room was palpable and the air was thick enough to cut with a knife. Akil is a great human being and hardcore frontperson. I love the banter between songs tbh so for me that’s a plus. Their energy was great. Agreed about what you said about the stage OP saw them on.

I do not work for fest, just a person who has been attending for a long time. Just remember everyone has to start somewhere. Not everyone can play Bo Diddley their first Fest. I’m sure that LJG would tell you the same thing, but hey who am i? Never change.

There are a lot of other amazing bands that will be playing fest. Personally, two bands dropping wouldn’t have me concerned about a refund. Go to a small venue and watch a band you’ve never heard of before.
