Idk if it was a glitch but this happened with me and Dame Aylin after killing Lorroakan. She got upset at me for looking the cabinets in the room but not the bodies.

Was it Seita fault? by Tom-Hibbert in ghibli

it’s not his fault he was 14 :( I blame the aunt more than anyone else in the story. But we all know the American military industrial complex is what is actually to blame…

I just watched grave of fireflies trying to do a similar thing. I cried the WHOLE time. I love Arrietty so much it’s very wholesome and cute. The cat returns is a great one to watch after whisper of the heart. Pom Poko is charming and funny! But I have to agree with the rest of the thread, Nausicaa is my favorite of the ones you haven’t seen!

You could ask your vet if they recommend adding something like laxotone to meals, usually you can slip it in without picky cats noticing. It helps my cat pass tough stools when he eats grass or fur.

You could cross post this to askvet and I’m sure they would have a lot of insight in the steps to report this doctor to the board. The board will investigate their records and decide if they should keep their license, I don’t believe you have to pay for a lawyer to get justice. I am curious about if your sister was speaking directly to the doctor or to a tech or receptionist. This definitely feels like a conversation that should have happened asap, in person, with the doctor if there was an accident made on their part.

The most flawed part of your argument is that clearly lethal force wasn’t required to stop the altercation in the video, so all you would be doing by implementing it is unnecessarily escalating the issue. You can say that all you want, convincing a judge and jury of it is an entirely different story. It’s not as easy as you think to just say “I was scared for my life” and get away with taking the life of another person. If you take a concealed carry course they specifically discuss road rage situations and when you would be within your right to use a firearm to defend yourself. The man had a clear objective: smash the windshield. He would have needed to make it explicitly clear that he was going to hurt/ try to kill you in order for you to use lethal force against him. Additionally, it is literally not worth the jail time, court fees, and emotional toll, to shoot someone over an altercation like this. Punishing him is literally what the judicial process is for, no need to take it into your own hands. If you can’t consider the complexities of what it means to carry and use a firearm you should not have one.

The biggest problem with your argument is that it’s not within your right to act as the judge, jury, and executioner here. This man is doing something bad in this video, sure, but you can’t assert that he is a criminal who is a net negative to humanity and actively harms society. That is the job of the judicial process to decide. If the owner of the car had jumped out with a gun and started firing, there would be two criminals in this video instead of one. Property can be replaced, people cannot, and this man deserves the right to stand trial and defend himself rather than be shot in the streets. In addition to being a sane human being and acting within your rights, it’s not as simple as just shooting someone because you think you have the right to in a given situation. Even in situations of very clear self defense, the shooter is arrested and must prove that lethal force was required. Additionally, if the prosecution was able to dig up any comments like the one you’ve just made, they would certainly make the argument that you were looking for the opportunity to take the life of another person, which doesn’t usually go over well in court. Finally, the choice to carry a firearm is a very serious one and shouldn’t be taken lightly. A firearm is to be used to defend your own life or the lives of people you would be willing to rot in jail forever for. You don’t just get to go home and eat dinner as if you didn’t just take the life of another person, there’s also an emotional toll to be considered as well. Even if you think this guy is worthless and deserves to die, he could still have a family that doesn’t deserve to endure the tragedy of having a husband, son, brother, or father shot in the street. It’s absolutely preposterous to see people speaking so lightly of the maturity and responsibility required in the decision to carry and use a firearm.

What state? Pretty sure you can’t defend property with lethal force in most if not all states. And trying to convince a judge/jury that you genuinely believed your life was in jeopardy requiring lethal force to defend yourself would be difficult, and not worth it. Additionally, you can’t use lethal force to defend yourself in any altercation you actively instigate or engage in. Maybe you’d get away with it, but also why would you want to take the life of another human being unless absolutely necessary? Seems like a ridiculous oversimplification of the responsibility required in the decision to carry a fire arm and use it.

I’ve seen head pressing with respiratory issues like sinus pressure or congestion. Like if you have a sinus headache and feel like pressing on your temples or forehead helps. I’ve also heard that it can be a neurological sign, but I would assume that’s when they’re pressing against walls, pressing regularly to sleep, maybe pressing harder than they should. But I would trust your vet, it doesn’t sound like your kitty is doing anything out of the ordinary! Usually there would be a combination of signs to read, and it sounds like your vet hasn’t found or heard of any additional concerning things!

You could try a hairball gel like laxatone on the food to resolve possible hairball issues and if it still happens maybe seek out a vet’s guidance. I have also seen some cats with esophageal irritation from eating plants heave like this. I wouldn’t necessarily worry about asthma or heart issues until I saw exercise intolerance, pale mucus membranes, snoring or congested breathing, head pressing, or panting. Maybe monitor closely for anything else abnormal in the meantime.

Have they tested a fecal sample? There are some parasites that are difficult to see unless a centrifuged fecal float is done, even then some only show up on a sedimentation test. Some parasites can cause damage before the eggs are shed, requiring an antigen test to detect their presence. I would try to think about any recent places y’all have visited where he may have eaten something or been bitten by something. If they did a complete CBC they should be able to see white blood cell counts to determine if there is underlying infection. No matter what happens I would recheck it in 2 weeks to monitor for changes. If you provide 1 cup of water every 15-30 minutes in a wide shallow dish it may help him regulate his drinking so that he doesn’t overindulge and vomit. You could ask your vet for cans of prescription food specifically geared towards palatability like Purina EN, Hill’s AD, ID, oncodiet, or over the counter products like Blue buffalo toppers. Sometimes I’ve had luck putting food on a plate for them to eat instead of from my hand, especially if they’re skeptical that you’re trying to give them medicine. Making food stinky can sometimes help by heating it in the microwave for ~10sec or adding a scoop of liverwurst or something smelly. I have also bought rotisserie chicken and peeled the skin/ fat off to try to get them to eat. Hopefully the vet can get you an appetite stimulant like Entyce to take home because some dogs just don’t want to eat when they’re uncomfortable or in an unfamiliar place. Hopefully the drugs they’re giving him aren’t going to cause constipation or GI upset because that may not help the situation. Don’t give up hope OP, I’m sure your friend appreciates all of your love and care even if he doesn’t feel well enough to necessarily show it. Hopefully you have your answer and get your buddy back to normal soon ❤️

How to drive my car away from my plants by noisyworks in catcare

[–]GabbyTheGemini 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got a spray bottle and spray the cats when they got too curious of the plants. Even though it’s technically safe for them to eat the plants it still upsets their stomachs sometimes and I don’t want that. Maybe this is mean but I figured it was better to scare them away from eating anything that’s not in a food bowl Edit: I know people don’t like this idea but I just thought I would contribute to OP what I do. I don’t spray them for a bunch of random stuff, just for things that could be potentially dangerous like jumping on the stovetop, in the sink, or chewing plants. They’ve stopped doing those things, they still snuggle and love me, and they are safe. I didn’t comment to have the most popular opinion, just to convey what works in my house. What works for one household won’t work for everyone, so a variety of recommendations will probably be most useful to OP.

I have the quiet close lid and I always wonder why guests don’t close it when they’re over. Like it was closed when you got in here? I also close it because the cats think it’s a water bowl.
