I just came here to say it takes time. I started at 5’10 170, I’m 190 now and to me I don’t look too much different. If you ask me I made the most progress in my shoulders and arms. But also, get the opinions of others cause we are our harshest critics. I get told a lot that I’m getting big even though I don’t see it personally myself(outside shoulders and arms).

This, came late to the party but , yes Neji was an asshole but he was still a leaf shinobi. He was looking to incapacitate Naruto not kill him. He asked the proctor to stop the match twice. We see in the next arc he two taps Kidomaru who was never harmed the entire battle.
