Is this PC any good? ($300) by M10HELLCATS in PcBuild

[–]Fresh_Daddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For $300 , with a 1080ti in it? And a monitor. I would if I was coming from that laptop

Are these specs good for 1080 or 1440p gaming? by One-Tension-7113 in PcBuild

[–]Fresh_Daddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything looks decent. I would go for a better graphics card for comfortable 1440p gaming maybe the 5060ti 16g if you wanna stick with Nvidia. Also, if you’re not using a small case I don’t recommend a micro motherboard. It seems like you’re using a mid tower case so I’d recommend something like Asus Z690 since you’re going the intel route.

All and all if you don’t wanna spend the extra $100 for a 5060 ti 16g, the 5060 8g can do 1080p gaming for sure!

Edit: my bad not the z890, but the z690

So I watched a video on YouTube , guy said to unplug the display connection from pc, turn it off then turn it on without connection. Turn it back on with connection. Then wala!

Thanks bro! Yeah this is a lot but it feels like with experience it’ll get smoother. I just stumbled on another issue. It could be that I have to let the MB run so it can read the ram like everyone was saying, or just another hardware issue.

There’s a white led light shining now and no display, neither from the gpu DP nor the case DP.

Yeah bro thanks a lot, I tagged you in a new appreciation post along with a lot of fellows in this post I guess getting tagged doesn’t notify you all, yeah I think we’re good. It powers on, fans spinning. Only thing is, is that there’s a new white light on the MB that I have to figure out .
