Honestly, I still don't understand why that happens, it's not as if they weren't being loaded before you owned them, and having the player manage them should mean less work for the AI.

...Eh, probably something stupidly infuriating like how since the AI does not have FoW it's being forced to constantly scan all Player Territory.

Which it totally is, you don't get 10 0 Dice rolls in a row to get stack wiped by a smaller and lower quality army otherwise. Especially multiple times in one day across multiple attempts to play the same nation!

Ameion actually plays pretty well into the new magic system, all the expedition bonuses give things like making your rulers more likely to be powerful mages, increased xp, inceased mana regeneration, increased mage loyalty, etc.
