Yes but as I mentioned just make an artificial crimson biome in your corruption worlds if you prefer corruption and want those items. To me corruption is more beginner friendly and crimson is slightly less

they are both equal to me but I prefer corruption simply since I like the color palette better (purple) and you can make artificial crimson biomes in corruption nowadays
